Facebook named ‘top invention of the last decade’

More than 1,000 British people were asked to name their favourite three inventions of the Noughties, and almost three-quarters (73%) included the social networking website among their choices. The iPhone was the second most popular (62%), closely followed by networking website Twitter (58%). Some of those questioned (8%) said jeggings - a cross between jeans and leggings - were among their favourite inventions and a small number (2%) even voted for X Factor's twins John and Edward.
