Original Xbox Live an end of an era

As of today if you own an original Xbox and play online or even play old games on the Xbox 360 online you should know that this is the last day you will be able to do so.

Microsoft announced earlier in the year that the plug will be pulled on older games and the original Xbox online gaming arena. As of midnight tonight all old Xbox games will be going offline.

The online world of gaming has become one of the fastest growing industries since Xbox launched it back in 2002. Xbox live will obviously still continue on the 360 platform it’s only the original games and online play that will no longer be supported.

This move paves the way for even greater future developments for the 360 as new technology becomes available in leaps and bounds.
