DSM head to Marketing Week Live 2010

Yesterday DSM Design headed to London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre to check out all that the Online Marketing section of Marketing Week Live had to offer…

Marketing Week Live is one of the UK’s largest marketing events that attracts industry experts from around the world to present and share their insider knowledge, ideas and discoveries!

Of the different marketing shows available at the event, the DSM team focussed our attention on the Online Marketing Show in particular as this event would give us chance to learn of new trends and the latest and most effective online marketing tools available in the industry to help further enhance and develop our client’s online marketing campaigns.

Many of the UK’s leading online marketing agencies gave presentations on industry tips, tricks and trends to implement and keep an eye out for in the future. DSM attended the event to make sure that we are consistently providing the most effective online marketing solutions for our clients, because if we’re not ahead of the game, how can our clients expect to be?

The Online Marketing Show gave great insights on how to ensure a return on investment from your online marketing through experimenting with new ways of advertising online and focusing your marketing on the prospective customer, rather than the client – because at the end of the day, you have to create something that your customers want and like, not what you yourself may want and like. Effective research into target markets here is integral to success!

One of the key things mentioned in several presentations was the importance of measuring the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, something DSM has consistently done since day one! We were also advised to always keep track of what we offer in comparison to our competitors, again something we have always done to ensure we have and always will offer a great service and value for money!

While at this event DSM were able to learn of new innovations that could potentially help to transform our client’s online performance. Visiting the show made it clear that DSM’s competitive edge is what will ensure our future as a leader in SEO and online marketing in the Dorset area and beyond!!
