Google search with My Location

Google has recently launched the ability to search with My Location meaning users can find nearby outlets or resources by speaking into their handset.

The official description from Google HQ: “Search for things nearby without entering your location. Just type or speak what you’re looking for.”

Sounds pretty cool huh? Well here’s a silly video from Google to make the concept even clearer, whereby a guy searches for Pizza in no less than a 100 places.

Some believe that by speaking the word Pizza it will teleport you to another location. I’m afriad to say that after a few short tests this doesn’t appear to be the case.

Also some of the eager eyed viewers will note the actor uses an iPhone, not a Google phone for this new location based service…we lol’d!!

Give it a whizz, see where your nearest pizza joint is….Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza, Pizza…
