Introducing Qwiki The Information Experience
On the 27th September Qwiki, a new information processing service, was unveiled at Techcrunch Disrupt. This new service is a revolutionary technology that will likely alter the future of online information architecture. The concept of Qwiki is that users search a keyword, similar to doing a Google search but predominately targeted towards specific information i.e. people, places, objects or history. Timberland creates 3D website as part of new online marketing strategy
Timberland, the clothing company, not the music artist has launched 5 micro sites, one in 3D, as part of their new online marketing campaign and in attempt to reach all of its wide ranging audience. Facebook places benefits to UK businesses

Google search with My Location
Google has recently launched the ability to search with My Location meaning users can find nearby outlets or resources by speaking into their handset.
